A little surprise – a distinctive gift from curio!
A meaningful gift is not only about the moment it is given, but also the joy of opening it and discovering what lies within.
Inspired by this idea, curio created “A little surprise” – a gift set featuring a round tray and a lacquered food cover, bringing together the craftsmanship of two traditional practices: woodworking, with its techniques of woodturning and natural wood finishing, and traditional Vietnamese lacquerware. Through an artistic approach to design, these time-honored crafts are reinterpreted with refined lines, contemporary colors, and functionality suited to modern living. Proportioned to complement the Vietnamese dining table and finished with materials that meet food-safety standards, “A delightful surprise” is both decorative and practical. It helps cover and protect food while creating a delightful moment when the lid is lifted to reveal a dish prepared for guests.
Elegant, functional, and easy to integrate into a variety of living spaces, “A delightful surprise” is a Vietnamese handcrafted gift for special occasions throughout the year – ideal for friends, family, business partners, or anyone who appreciates the beauty of art and craftsmanship in everyday objects.
