LACQUER CANISTER

curio’s lacquerware products represent a fusion of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. Each design is developed with a minimalist spirit, emphasizing functionality and versatile application in various living spaces.

The products are crafted by artisans from traditional lacquerware villages in Binh Duong. The base uses MDF wood with a stable structure and a smooth, flat surface, creating ideal conditions for the lacquer finishing process.

Through multiple layers of painting and polishing, the lacquer gradually reveals its signature depth and clarity. curio uses a neutral color palette inspired by its ceramic collection, accented with deeper tones to highlight the subtle depth of lacquer.

Suggested uses: Japanese-style miso soup, sugar cubes and candy; or it can be used to hold cotton pads in the bathroom.
